Each team will need at least one parent volunteer.
The Team Parent duties include:
Receive packets with general season information, Kick Off Picture & Game Times, Fundraising Information; including order forms, drop off and delivery information, Picture ordering forms.
Order team banner with team name and players names (optional). Banner should be ready for kick-off and can be included in team pictures. Banners may be ordered from any company. (Depending on banner stand or frame to display banner may be needed.)
Help coaches communicate with team using email, phone calls, or team websites. Shutterfly provides free team sites for CYSA soccer clubs. Visit to set up a site.
Coordinate Fat Cat Fundraiser for the team.
Coordinate a team raffle basket for Kick-off.
Ensure Team raffle baskets are delivered to the Raffle tent at Kick-Off from 7-8:30 am.
Organize and assign game snacks.
Organize a year-end party. The cost of this is divided amongst the players on the team.
Order trophies or other prizes for the end of the year party, if desired by the team.
Collect money from parents for all of the above. This is best done by providing an invoice to each family that details all costs. Please work with coaches to keep team costs as low as possible.
